Initiatives in Music

 

• BYOM (Bring Your Own Music)

Hosted at an intimate home venue designed by the Gudimella family, BYOM features a permanent stage and seating for over 60 attendees. This free program fosters a love for the arts, hosting over:

• 180 concerts

• 45 chamber performances

• 18 workshops

BYOM serves as a platform for emerging artists to connect with passionate audiences and celebrate classical music in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

• Margazhi Celebrations

In honor of the Tamil Margazhi Season, a sacred period celebrating classical arts, GEMHS organizes chamber concerts showcasing this rich cultural heritage. These performances, held during the auspicious month of December to January, immerse audiences in divine themes and traditional music, fostering a deeper appreciation for this timeless art form.
